Clear Aligner
Mentorship

From first case to confident independent practice.

A consultant led clinical development programme for dentists who understand clear aligners but want greater confidence applying that knowledge to real patients.

Apply for the October Intake

Knowing the theory is not the same as feeling confident with a real patient.

Perhaps you have completed aligner training but still hesitate before accepting a case. You may question whether a simulation is safe, whether treatment is progressing normally, when to intervene, or whether a refinement is really needed.

That uncertainty is not unusual. A two day course can build knowledge. Clinical judgement develops through repeated decisions, real cases and thoughtful feedback.

“I haven’t done any cases. I don’t feel I understand it well enough.”
“How do I know when I should refine?”
“I’m scared I’m moving the teeth too far out of the bone.”

The promise

A specialist orthodontist in your corner, without creating dependence.

The programme helps you develop a structured way to assess, plan, monitor and finish appropriate aligner cases within your competence.

The objective is not to make decisions for you. It is to help you understand the decision, apply a repeatable framework and become increasingly independent.

The educational pathway

How CAM builds on Aligner Pro

Aligner Pro is Orthodontia’s intensive two day course in the principles, planning and practical delivery of clear aligner treatment. It is a valuable standalone course for clinicians who want concentrated, evidence based aligner education.

CAM supports the ongoing application of that knowledge to real patients through structured clinical development, repeated case based decisions and access to consultant level guidance over time.

Aligner Pro develops the foundation.
CAM helps clinicians strengthen their judgement through implementation.

CAM member benefit

Re-attend Aligner Pro during CAM*

*£200 reattendance fee. Subject to availability.

Who should apply?

For clinicians ready to turn knowledge into confident decisions.

  • Have completed meaningful aligner education
  • Are treating cases, or are genuinely ready to begin
  • Want greater confidence with case acceptance, simulations, monitoring, refinements and finishing
  • Value evidence based thinking and honest clinical discussion
  • Are prepared to bring cases, participate and take responsibility for their development

Your investment

Invest in your clinical development

CAM is an investment in your clinical confidence, judgement and future practice. It provides the structure, expert guidance, repeated application and accountability needed to turn aligner knowledge into confident decision making with real patients.

The aim is not simply to know more. It is to make better clinical decisions and gradually need less support, not more.

A selective cohort creates better learning.

The mentorship is deliberately limited in size. Applications are reviewed to ensure that the programme matches your current experience, access to suitable patients and willingness to participate.

Submitting an application does not commit you to enrol and does not guarantee a place. If the programme appears suitable, Orthodontia will invite you to a conversation before offering enrolment.

FAQ

Is this suitable if I have not started a case?

Potentially, but you must have the knowledge, commitment and realistic patient access needed to participate. Suitability will be discussed before enrolment.

Will my treatment plans be approved?

No. The mentorship provides education and structured guidance. You remain responsible for clinical decisions and treatment.

Can I submit unlimited cases?

No. Each delegate may make a structured case submission each month. This keeps the programme fair, focused and sustainable.

What does priority review mean?

A time sensitive submitted question may be reviewed within 48 working hours. This is not an emergency service and does not guarantee approval of a treatment plan.

What if I miss a live forum?

If you are unable to attend, you will be given an appropriate opportunity to catch up on the key learning. Full arrangements will be explained at enrolment.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Details of the available payment arrangements will be provided during the application process.

Can I re-attend Aligner Pro during CAM?

Yes. CAM delegates may re-attend Aligner Pro during the programme for a £200 reattendance fee, subject to availability.

Can I book Aligner Pro and CAM together?

Yes. The combined price is £8,500, saving £500 compared with booking the two programmes separately.

What happens after I apply?

Orthodontia reviews your application and, where appropriate, invites you to a suitability conversation before enrolment is offered.

You do not need another folder of course notes.

You need a structured way to make better decisions while treating real patients.
